The Surrey Knights season begins tonight at 7pm at North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex!
With a Blockbuster trade in the rear window and the addition of some skilled young talent the Knights look to rebound from a lackluster “Covid” Season last year. With several returning players including; Brad Collins, Jake and Billy Thompson, Jayman Jutla, Monty Uyeyama, Brandon Melsness, Henry Brawdy, Logan Earle, Darian Tamas, & Rahul Sharma. The Knights have added two new goaltenders in DJ Cash (Langley) and Brendan Olson (Camrose, AB). In addition they have added 4 new Defensemen; Maddox Caie, Nick Rusnak, Liam Knotts & Lukas Hokanson. All local talent from Langley and Maple Ridge. As for offensive punch the Knights have added Tyson Williams (Cochran, AB), Dalton Mackeigan (Gibbons, AB), Roman Wolynec (Kamloops), Tak Nagamatsu (White Rock), and Caleb Douglas (Maple Ridge). Recently, the Knights made a major trade with Ridge Meadows Flames and aquired 3 Cloverdale Minor Players, Colby Stanley, Trevor Damon, & Matt Jung. Tonight will be a good litmus test to see where the Knights are and if they need to make any changes.
